Words With Friends is an exciting and competitive wordplay game. Follow the steps below to start playing Words With Friends.
Step 1:
Go to the Apple App Store, search for Words With Friends, and download the app.
Step 2:
Use the green plus sign icon to find an opponent. You can either be randomly matched with another player or play with someone you already know. You can connect by playing Words With Friends through Facebook or by typing in a friend’s username.
Step 3:
When it’s your turn, place letter tiles on the board horizontally or vertically to form words. Play your first letter on the purple plus sign tile when you start a game. Each letter is worth a particular amount of points, and you’ll earn an extra 35 points if you can play all of your tiles in one turn.
Step 4:
When you’re ready to end your turn, click on the Play button and your friend will get a chance to put down letter tiles. You can send your friend a message by selecting the blue Message button.
Step 5:
If you’re stuck, shake your phone to shuffle your letter tiles. You can exchange one letter tile for another using the Swap button, but you will have to use up one of your turns. Still stuck? Click on the Pass key to skip your turn.
Step 6:
Play a letter on a bonus tile (DL, TL, TW, or DW) to earn extra points.
