How to Print from a Windows Laptop to a Mac Shared Printer

If you are having difficulty printing from a Windows laptop to a Mac shared printer, there is an easy method for doing so. The best is by using Bonjour, a program that helps applications find shared services on a local network. Bonjour can help you print from your Windows laptop to a Mac printer.

What To Do First
You will need to download Bonjour Print Services for Windows first. You can find the download on the Apple support website. Once the program is downloaded, run the Printer Wizard. With the Mac running and connected to the network, Bonjour will recognize any shared printers. The Printer Wizard will display the shared printers. Select the one that you would like to install.

Install Printer Drivers
You may need to install printer drivers. If they are already installed on your laptop, you can select those drivers from the list in the Printer Wizard. If not, you will have to locate them. Make sure you get the correct printer drivers. If you don’t, you won’t be able to print.

Verify The Settings
