While using Facebook, it is likely that many of your friends will use Facebook apps and play games online. Many such apps and games allow the end-users to invite their friends in order to participate in certain activities or to support them while playing the games.
If you have such friends added in your Facebook friend list, you, as an end-user, might get annoyed with several app or game invites that you receive from your friends. In order to permanently stop receiving the invites for any particular app or game, you must block that program by tapping the appropriate blocking option on your smartphone.
Here is how you can block the Facebook games are apps invites using your Android smart phone:
- ■Turn on your Android phone.
■Tap the Menu icon to go to the apps list.
■Locate and tap the Facebook icon.
■If you are not already logged-in, provide necessary credentials in the appropriate fields, and tap the Log In button.
■Once the News Feed page opens up, tap the More button (icon with three horizontal lines) from the top-right corner.
■On the next open interface, tap the Account Settings option under the HELP & SETTINGS section.
■On the Settings window, tap the Notifications option.
■On the Notification Settings interface that opens up, tap the Notifications from apps option under the What Notification You Get section, at the bottom.
■Finally tap to unselect the apps for which you want to disable the notification under the Notifications from apps section.
