Question How to add a HOME screen Icon

Just got a new Galaxy A40 android phone.

Downloaded Tesco Grocery & Clubcard app.
It's listed in the list of apps (SETTINGS,APPS) but I'd like to have easy access from my home screen.
All the help I have seen states SETTINGS,APPS scroll to app, keep it depressed and you should see ICON or similar that allows you to create a shortcut.
I press the ICON in the list , remove my finger and more info about the app appears. I can OPEN or UNINSTALL the app (& FORCE STOP - not sure what this does if it's not running)
Don't see how to get this on my HOME screen (have other apps but no idea how I achieved this)

Yes now works. I had previously not taken the 'first step' by scrolling up to show all apps - I had used SETTINGS, APPS

Thanks again - forced me to read more carefully!
