The quest is going to be a mixture of different tasks that you will have to complete and all the tasks will involve Zorah Magdaros. So if you want to know more about the quest and how you can complete it, refer to the guide below:
Walkthrough:
Finally, the last quest of the First Wyverian. But this is not going to be an easy one. Granted, you just completed a very challenging quest where you fought two scary monsters but this one is the last quest so it has to be hard. If this quest is not harder than the previous one then it is not easier than it either. So the quest does not have a really straightforward objective and has two or three different tasks in it. So if you complete the quest successfully, you will be rewarded with a handsome amount of 8280z which is a lot for you at the moment. Anyways, the quest will give you a time period of 50 minutes to complete all tasks and if you don’t do that, you will fail the quest. You will also fail the quest if you faint three times during it. Lastly, you will need a hunter rank of 10 to start this quest. So with everything out of the way, let’s start the quest:
1. When you are ready to start this assignment, talk to the Handler and after some chatter, you will be able to select the quest. Get some good mean and bring whatever items you need with you and then depart the Astera when you are ready.
2. When you arrive, you will exchange some dialogues with the commander and then you will automatically fly over the Zorah Magdaros and then drop down on Elder Dragon’s carapace. This section of the quest is very similar to the segment of the quest One for the History Books where you had to destroy the Magmacores to weaken the Zorah Magdaros.
3. Soon, the Nergigante will show up and will require your attention. Go to the area where the monster is rested on the Zorah Magdaros and then try to jump off the ledge nearby onto its back. Now unlike the last fight, there will be no hunters coming to save you so you will have to deal enough damage that will drive the monster off. After that, you will have to seek out some more magmacores that will be made difficult by the constant magmatic secretions of Zorah Magdaros.
4. Soon you will fly off when the monster approaches the barrier upon which you will land. Now this part is similar to the first part of the quest One for the History Books where you had to load up cannons and shoot them at Zorah. You will also use some ballistae at the Barnos that will come to attack you.
Deal enough damage to the monster and you will then have to jump down the ship to activate the Dragonator that will deal massive damage to Zorah Magdaros. And after using the Dragonator, again switch to the cannon and keep hitting the Zorah until you win. Once you do that, the quest will come to an end.
