As you probably already know, Google Play Store is a default app for any Android phone out there. If there is any application or game out there you want to try, Play Store is the place to get it.
Unfortunately, sometimes there are problems when downloading or updating an application, which can get frustrating.
Error 923 is one of those problems which you may encounter. Luckily, there are ways to fix it, as you will see for yourself. Just to note that this doesn’t mean this will work for everyone, but a lot of times these steps help, so here they are.
■ Find the Settings menu on your mobile phone.
■ Now, find and tap on Apps or Application manager, whatever it’s called on your phone.
■ In here, find Google Play Store in the list of apps and tap on it.
■ Now, tap on Clear data and Clear cache.
■ You can also tap on Uninstal updates to really reset everything, although this might not be needed.
■ Just to be on the safe side, you could also do all of these steps for Google Play Services, which you can find on the application list.
■ If this didn’t fix your issue, you might try to remove your Gmail account then add it back. So, find and open the Google app
■ Tap on the menu icon (three vertical lines).
■ Find the options to manage and add new accounts (might need to tap on small down arrow)
■ Tap on Manage accounts.
■ Find and tap on Google.
■ Now find the option Remove Account and confirm the action.
■ You can try again to clear the cache and data, as mentioned in the steps and after that add your account back. You add your account by choosing Add Account and then just follow the steps required and you’re done.
■ If the issue still persists, consider contacting Google support and see if there is anything they can do.
