Where Did My Quick Access Toolbar in MS Word 2013 Go?

MS Word 2013 as a Quick Access Toolbar that is by default placed just next to the Microsoft orb that is available at the top left corner of the interface. The Quick Access Toolbar, as the name suggests, provides tools to quickly access a few commands that are frequently used by most users. Also, since the Quick Access Toolbar is available at a very handy location, it becomes easier for the end-users to click the tools available in the toolbar.

The best part of Quick Access Toolbar is that the tools that it contains can be removed very easily. Likewise, additional tools can also be added in the Quick Access Toolbar as per the users’ individual needs. You, as an end-user, may want to add or remove the tools from the Quick Access Toolbar if you know that there are few tools available in MS Word 2013 that you would need very frequently, and there are some of them that you would never use at all. Examples can be Undo and Redo buttons. Most users mostly use the Undo button, but the Redo button is used seldom.

In order to add or remove the tools from the Quick Access Toolbar, you can go to the Word Options box by going to FILE> Options.

Now, if you cannot see your Quick Access Toolbar on the MS Word 2013 interface, somebody might have removed all the tools from the toolbar, hence making it look like a disabled feature. You can easily add the important tools by following the instructions given below:

■Log on to the computer using the account on which MS Word 2013 configuration is to be made.

■Once logged on, open any existing Word document or create a new one.

■On the opened interface, go to the FILE tab.

■From the displayed list, click Options.
