    Thanks . That's what I thought. Just needed to access receiver's OSD for setup. I wound up plugging the monitor out (RCA) to composite video in on my home theater system and did setup on theater display. It worked.

    Is there a way to connect a monitor (HDMI in) to an A/V receiver with only composite, S-video, and component out connectors?
