    Yes, the cable box has a HDMI port, but the amp/DVD player only has 1 HDMI port. (Although the TV does have 2 HDMI ports....so I'm thinking just run the 3 RCA cables from the cable box to the amp/DVD player and run the HDMI cable to the TV ....and then figure out what settings to use on the TV...

    The cable signal goes to the cable box via coaxial. They ran the 3 RCA cables to the TV. Can I just connect the 3 RCA cables to the amp/DVD player and connect the amp/DVD player to the TV with a HDMI cable?
