    Can I get surround sound when watching IPTV. Sound presently coming from tv speakers. Tv is connected to a Sony system. No sound when IPTV and tv are on. Surround sound comes on tv when IPTV is shut. Sony speakers are connected by red and white cables. Sony is connected to tv by hdmi cable...

    Regular sound comes from tv when iptv is on. No sound from sony receiver.

    The tv has a optical audio output. The sony sound system does not have optical input. Only has hdmi cables. The mag254 has a Spdif.
