sounds like you have an issue with your ipad, try going to an apple forum and searching the issue, i have a feeling they can give you a better answer. Or just google ipad only playing through one earbud/headphone. Im sure there are plenty of people that have had that issue before

That's a really broad issue, what all trouble shooting have you tried from the receiver's end? is it just on one imput or on anything you try to play through the receiver?

If that's the case then it shouldnt be anything to do with your receiver. Can you try a different hdmi cable from your uverse box to receiver? Try that and see if the problem persists. If it does, then it sounds like it would be from the uverse box. If that is the issue call AT&T and have them...

If i had to guess, i would say its on the receiver's end. But without playing around with it that would be hard to pinpoint for sure. Have you tried other sources i.e. blu ray player, or gaming system and seeing if the problem continues in other inputs? If you don't have anything else to plug...

I know this will sound like a silly question or two, but, have you had you right ear checked? If it isn't your hearing are you using some sort of source on all three that could be putting out a bad signal? Just really strange that all your audio set ups are all having issues from the same spot...
