Old Threads die hard sometimes. Update on problem: I know it's an old thread, but I was fooling around and I discovered this. My integrated graphics run's smoothly, off and on battery charge. It's the NVIDIA one that gives me the problem, by the looks of it.

How would I go about uninstalling the power settings? There aren't any "third party" power configurations, it's pretty much a fresh install, none that I know of anyway...
