No sound through monitor
Cheapie Wal-Mart connector. The cable box is one of the small Cisco boxes with no audio outs. Pretty much outta there, huh? -

No sound through monitor
I connected an eMachines monitor cable box using HDMI-VGA lead. There a 3.5mm audio jack on the monitor. Tried aux speakers, even my bass amp, but still no sound. Any tips?
