    If i wire it the other way, would it fry it or anything? I have the positive to where there was a + but what if that is wrong? What would happen if i solder it the other way? Seems i got ripped off on kijiji and this is fried anyways. Nothing to lose at this point.

    Quick solder. MB gets power, will not turn on with on button.

    Shows power going to the MB. Does not turn on with the on button. No hdd is hooked up, don't think that matters.

    I left part of the metal prong from the jack on there. I just soldered 2 wires from a power supply on there. I will de solder and show a pic.

    The inside of the jack is damaged. The plastic centre. There are 3 pins showing.
