    Razer Tiamat 2.2

Hmm, is the jack that the microphone is plugged into set as a input/mic? I know some motherboards allow each jack to be defined as whatever is needed (input and output). It might also not be set as the recording device in the Windows sound options.

    Razer Tiamat 2.2

Awesome! What do you mean record? Like have it's input enabled so you can use it for games etc? Or do you mean just normal voice recording like for a voice-over/narration?

    Razer Tiamat 2.2

I've found the microphone (I think it's the same on the 2.2 and the 7.1), to be very good. If anything, I've had issues with it being hard to turn on automatically since I talk quietly and it has good ambient noise cancellation.

    Razer Tiamat 2.2

It's a great headset. I tried that one and the Tiamat 7.1. Very full sound range on the 2.2 headset. The Kingston HyperX Cloud is also very highly rated in the same price range.

    VGA to HDMI adapters

How about something like this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16812186210&cm_re=hdmi_to_vga-_-12-186-210-_-Product Or a straight up cable: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA2NA1FB3445&cm_re=hdmi_to_vga-_-9SIA2NA1FB3445-_-Product

    Headset vs headphones

There are the luxury headsets, but usually the straight up headphones have better sound than any headset. The sound especially from the true circumaureal headphones and headsets cannot easily (or at all) duplicate the quality and quantity of sound that 2 dedicated high quality drivers of a 2...

TV Will Not work in NVIDIA GTX 660 HDMI Port

Hmm, that's the strange part, that the signal is definitely working if it can detect the tv model etc and is leaving the desktop space for it. How many displays are plugged in at once? Have you checked to see if there are updates for the TV? I saw a section on the manual for both wired and...

TV Will Not work in NVIDIA GTX 660 HDMI Port

Hmm darn, I didn't see any signal detection modes in the manual. Does the TV work if you have a screen plugged into the 660 at the same time? I was thinking it had to be a signal detection mode since the hdmi ports all cross-checked to be working with other devices. If you have the TV and...

TV Will Not work in NVIDIA GTX 660 HDMI Port

You may need to select the input detection type on your TV. HDMI usually relies on a signal from whatever device is plugged in to actually tell it that it is on. I have a computer hooked up to a TV and I had to change the connection detection from auto to force on. In my instance the TV would...

Are the HyperX clouds good for CounterStrike

I would recommend the Razer Tiamat 7.1 for a true positional audio headset. The Clouds have great sound quality, especially for the price, but are stereo only. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16826153089&cm_re=tiamat-_-26-153-089-_-Product

    Laptop Fan Question

You should be ok to do both. Gently using a qtip to swab the dust off works well too. You can cut the qtip head in half if it is too wide/thick. The dust will blow out with the compressed air, you don't really need to worry too much about it building up, once it's broken up and free, just...

Does overheating damage gpu? And if it does, how to detect the damage on the gpu... P\S: this is for laptop

Constant very high temperatures can definitely damage every component of a computer, especially in a laptop where things are sandwiched together paired up with often inadequate cooling systems. Generally overheating damage over time will show graphic artifacts, programs will crash etc, not just...
