Well, might be easier if Chrome isn't full screen. Reduce size of the chrome window, so it's not near the top right of screen. Can you see a separate 3 dots on chrome now?
... you could try doing a 'Apple Hardware Test' or probably, with your 2015 model, an 'Apple Diagnostics Utility' to check your hardware.
Boot up while holding down the 'D' key, ... or if that doesn't work, hold down the 'Option + D' keys. Then check your hardware. Hope it helps

where did you purchase your macbook air from. It may be an overseas version ( https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201794 ) . If not, maybe just set 'Language & Region' and/or input type from 'Keyboard ' .. in System Preferences. ( http://thetypingcat.com/howto/change-your-keyboard-layout-mac-os-x )

What is it, how old is it, is it windows or Mac/what version, how much Ram, how full is your HDD and anything else you care to mention that might help get your answer :-)

I have an early 2011 macbook pro, just like you. I have an SSD and 8GB ram, it's made sooo much difference. Go and do it asap. You won't regret it, it'll be better than new.
