Need Google Framework Services for Games

I looked at previous phones I've owned and it is listed in the app list, but not so for this one. It's a brand new phone that I've had for 2 days, just released last month. If it is a core function of Android, why is it not preinstalled?

Need Google Framework Services for Games

I just got a new phone - the Moto Z. Overall I'm lovin it but when trying to log into my accounts for certain games that I've wasted untold hours on, the game help says I need Google Framework Services to do this. Every other phone I've had or switched to has had this, but the new flagship Moto...

    R.I.P. Slysoft. They're gone.

Slysoft is gone. It's a very sad day for HTPC users.

Connect audio rca home theatre system through optical port.

Optical output is digital and RCA is analog. You would need an external digital to analog converter (DAC) to accomplish this.

    Ps4 sounds to speakers

The speakers receive their signal from the PC, so you can get a sound card with an optical or spdif in port and connect the PS4 through that.

ps4 optical through pc surround setup

I am doing exactly what you attempted with my PS3 and a Claro Halo sound card, which has spdif in. I'm not familiar with the startech card you have, but mine works fine. Have you checked all the software settings on your sound driver? You mentioned your speakers are hooked to the motherboard...

Best 5.1 setup for PC gaming.

I have an HTPC with a Claro Halo XT sound card hooked up to a 5-channel amp that I built. This goes out to my Klipsch home theater speakers and custom built sub. The PC acts as my preamp/receiver/source for everything - even my PS3 and VCR route sound through it. So, yes, a quality sound card is...

How to get PS3 sound through PC

My HTPC serves as audio preamp out to an amplifier I built. As such, I route my PS3 sound through my PC. I have a Claro Halo sound card which has an optical in. True, the optical PCM from PS3 only puts out 2.1 channels, but JRiver does a good job of upmixing to 5.1. Plus, most of my gaming is on...

    HDCP Compliant Errors

Turns out the problem is that the 980ti is not hdcp 2.2 compliant, despite countless professional reviews that state it is. There go my hopes for watching 4k disc content. Unless anydvd is able to crack it. We'll see.

    HDCP Compliant Errors

I have an HTPC with a 980 Ti GPU hooked up to a Panasonic AX800 TV. There is a Displayport connection and an HDMI 2.0 connection. Displayport works great, but only supports 60Hz, so if I want judder-free Blu-ray playback, I need a 24Hz refresh rate on the TV. This is done through HDMI. The TV is...
