I was switching the audio channels and put the audio channel to WI-FI so the blu ray player connects to my soundbar on my network. And just tested the same movie and cracking sound has vanished.

I have a 2k monitor and was wondering if the blu player will still upscale and try and get rid of artifacts. The blu ray player is: Samsung UBDM9500 in the features it does say it offers, UHD Up-Scale, Video Up-Scale (DVD) I did contact samsung live chat, but it was not helpful.

my current surround system LG HT554 died on me today and the warranty has expired. right now i'm using my monitor built in speakers which are terrible. what are good sound system or speakers for pc gaming, movies and music. your help would be much appreciated
