MalwareBytes and Avast! have done great for me on Windows 7. Windows Defender and MBAM work great for me on Windows 10. Advanced System Care package is nice, but performance improvements are undetectable to me - and I don't trust software from China... Piriform's tools are best IMO.

I have the same exact problem as this person. It's an older Dell Latitude E6420 that I just put an SSD in and a fresh copy of Windows 7. The problem is when I set the brightness to lower than 100% like any sane person, the backlight will go to full brightness for less than a second, then back...

You may be brushing the touchpad accidentally with another part of your hand. But seriously, for those apps, you want a separate mouse.

It Suuuuuucks. Two 5-minute levels, terrible character models, cutscenes that switch to 720p/no AA. Can't believe I wasted an hour downloading it.
