Best Budget Laptop For Music Production AND Video Editing?

    - Does it strictly have to be a laptop? You would get dramatically improved performance from a desktop - Do you need an OS included or can you source your own?

best gaming notebook under 1400 dollars ??????????????

You'd have to ask the shop or manufacturer about the warranty but the best you're going to get for that price would be something like this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834233094&cm_re=gtx_970m-_-34-233-094-_-Product

    DIY Laptop Concept

This sounds great, keep me posted too :) I wouldn't bother trying to get airflow in there as such, just arrange it like a normal laptop. Just put a vent next to each critical component (usually just the CPU/CPU fan) so the air can escape directly rather than getting it to flow all the way...

    £800 Portable All Rounder

Hi guys, I'm thinking of maybe buying a new laptop sometime in the next few months. I already have a laptop but it is aging a bit now and has seen better days in general. My current one is an MSI X-370. It is the model with an AMD E-450 and 4GB RAM. I upgraded it with a 128GB SSD. It is a...

    Cheap and Reliable Smartphone?

For anyone that cares, I went with a Samsung Galaxy Ace. Picked one up for £115 and I much prefer it to the HTC One X. Way better battery life, much better size and somehow seems like it will be more reliable.

    Cheap and Reliable Smartphone?

Hey guys, I post in the PC side of the forums quite a lot but I'm new over here. My current phone is the HTC Sensation, I was having a lot of issues with it and was also getting some seriously bad service from O2 as well so after making a complaint to them, they gave me the HTC One X to...

Thinking of low power netbook/laptop - advice please

It kind of depends on how much you want to spend really. An Atom D525 system should be fine and that would be the cheapest way and probably have the lowest power consumption. Another option is one based on the AMD E-350, it consumes a bit more power than the Atom but has more processing power...

    Recommend a Laptop

I don't any of those laptops will cope with GTA IV, I don't know of anything under 15'' that would to be honest. Any of those will be great for the other stuff though. Personally I would lean toward the Toshiba or MSI because in my experience, a lot of ASUS products have been very shoddy...

    'Portable' Gaming Laptop

I would go with integrated graphics personally, with something like the A8-3500M you have a quad core with decent graphics and the total TDP for the CPU and GPU is 35W. With an i7 or something it's around 35-45W for the CPU alone.
