    Also should I get a sound card for these. I have the AsRock 970 Performance MOBO and I dont know if that will hinder the sound.

    I will not even begin to argue with you. The ATH-50X look nice and have good reviews and the HD558 seem good too. Either one better for music reproduction as well as gaming?

    I'm looking for a headset to play FPS and other games with that has either an inline controls on the side. I want best sound quality available. I dont care about a mic, if it has one it doesnt matter I already have one.
