TV Pros Chime In: Refresh Rate for 4K TV's?

I would get the LG UB8500 series. It is the cheapest high quality 4k TV that doesn't seem like it has cheap parts that can cause problems. I have had the Samsung 6950 series before and they won't be good for gaming unless you get one of the bigger sizes for HDMI 2.0. So the Samsung TVs are out...

    TV as PC monitor

I have also had this problem but I'm on a 4k TV and I use display port. So I don't think it is just HDMI. This only happen sometimes also, so I keep my TV and PC settings to never sleep so it doesn't turn off until I tell it to. Believe it or not, a router can act as a video signal "jammer" that...

    50' panasonic cracked screen

I got a Panasonic TV, but that was quite a gamble, because I heard they have like the worst customer service in history. So I don't know if you wanna go with them, it may take like a few months, they're just extremely slow. If my TV ever have a problem, I think I'll have better luck with a local...

    4k tv for my room

Yeah, like I said, sometimes too cheap means bad things. So I go for the most popular brands that has good customer service. Although I did go with a brand that has very bad customer service reputation but they do make very good TV, I was kinda forced to get it since no one else has the thing I...

Netflix not loading on Samsung 4K TV

Then that most likely indicate it is the TV, is the software of the TV up to date? Also which TV do you have?

    4k tv for my room

I wouldn't get Seiki if you're planning to game on it at some point, they're only capable of 4k@30Hz. Sometimes too cheap is bad :)

Looking for 4K TV without any "Smart" or 3D functions

If you don't want them, why not just ignore them? I bought my 4k TV just for gaming purposes, I hardly ever use any of it's smart features, the only thing I do is use the Netflix button, I have never even watched a single TV show on my TV.

    720p quality on 4k TV

Resolutions that's lower than 4k on a 4k TV looks horrible, absolutely horrible on the TV, I had a 40 inch UHD TV that was defective before. It was only able to display 720p, not even normal HD, so that sucked and I returned it, if it looked unimaginably horrible on a 40 inch, how bad do you...

    Tablets for kids

Well, I have never bought a tablet for a kid before, but I have the Asus Nexus 7 from 2013 and it is still working perfectly and fast until now. It is pretty small and light, perfect size for a normal size hand, not sure about a 4 year old, lol. So maybe you could check it out, I think it is...

    4k 3d tv

I'd vote for Samsung TV also, they're just so easy to use and very good quality. But are you using it to watch TV/movies or using it to game? If it's gaming, what's your specs?
