hey I'm currently shopping around for a 4k tv but cant decide on which one to chose
Sony XBR49X850B 49-Inch
Samsung UN50HU8550 50-Inch
LG Electronics 49UB8500 49-Inch
i 'm really looking for something that has a really good Picture quality
I have personally installed the Samsung and a larger sony in customers houses. In my opinion I like the Samsung better. If you are wall mounting with a flat mount be prepared to use the spacers or get your own.

I'd vote for Samsung TV also, they're just so easy to use and very good quality. But are you using it to watch TV/movies or using it to game? If it's gaming, what's your specs?

As a Samsung fanatic myself, it was a hard choice for me too. However, I choose the 49UB8500 for this reason: IPS Panel. The colors by default are automatically better on the LG. Mind you, I normally hate LG...
IPS places your picture quality to a-whole-nother level. IPS for my computer monitor too @ 2560x1440. I'll never go back to TN panels. or TFT panels for TVs....EVER.
Paid $899 brand new. B&M Microcenter sale.
Get the LG...Like I said, I'm a Samsung fanatic. Had a ToC 7 Series 40 inch (LN40A750), ToC 6 series 55 inch (UB6300??), Another 6, 65 inch. Every single TV I have owned prior to the LG was a samsung.
