They are listed but it doesn't detect them as being plugged in.

I'm afraid so far these solutions aren't working, lads. I fear it may be a malfunctioning audio jack :(

When I try to play sound through my Logitech speakers the sound continues coming through the speakers on the laptop, I know the speakers work and I suspect the problem lies in the audio jack as the laptop doesn't realise that the speakers are plugged in. Please offer advise if you can.
