I am sure all of the above (asus,msi,lenovo) have some good solutions. Damn I have bought hardware from each and every one of them and it all came out good. Just get the one that has the best gpu, if its the same, aim for the best monitor, laptops are always better when they have a good screen...

I think lenovo has made a few nice models for that price that have better gpu's than most of the other brands. And from what I've heard they are quite reliable too.

Most people will say is not possible to play modern games on a 600-700$ laptop, I'll just say that for the same money you can have a lot better gaming performance with a desktop, however if it is a laptop you must have, my only suggestion is you get the one that has the best gpu for the money...

Good to hear, however it still seems a bit of a risk... to get a replacement and then pray for it to be a working one... I guess I'll have to wait and see.

Just got a pair, of course I confirm the usb dongle makes these noises. Such a shame. Strange, still no fix

Well I tried a friend's set with the adapter I already have and works fine. However I was quite disappointed because I am used to gaming with 5.1 speakers, so I think I'll be getting a surround headset after all. Thanks
