I have an old logitech g330 headset and I decided it's time for a new one because I just started using them more frequently so I need better ones for a reasonable price. After my research I concluded that Kingston HyperX cloud or Steelseries siberia v2 are the best for me (Not their newest versions). However they dont have usb connection. Is it OK (as far as quality) when I get one of these, to have them connected to the usb adapter that the g330 had and was so convenient?

Thanks

Well I tried a friend's set with the adapter I already have and works fine. However I was quite disappointed because I am used to gaming with 5.1 speakers, so I think I'll be getting a surround headset after all. Thanks

Do you not have a headphone jack?

Usually, I don't recommend gaming headsets; they are usually just gimmicks.
Just pair a good pair of headphones with a mic.

For a good surround sound experience get this headset:

^^ good for gaming, some people think it lacks in bass
Basically, it sounds like your at a concert.

For mind blowing music experience:

Remember that "surround headphones" in gaming headphones are not real surround; It is an artificial kind of surround.

They also have diminished sound quality.
