Yes, when i quit the game it continues to flicker for like 1 minute and then it completely stops flickering. The asus logo on the back flickering too is weird. It would probably run pretty recent games at low detail. Medium at most if they are not very graphic demanding. If you can't afford a good Gtx now, I would wait.

Does it happen only when you play games or also while browsing for example ? If it happens only while playing you should use some software to monitor the gpu temperature like msi afterburner.

You won't be able to play other games with that graphic card, at least not recent ones. I wouldn't buy a laptop or pc just for one game.
