Your CPU is fine. Its the GPU that's not good. 96C is REALLY high, but not that high for an older laptop. If you can try down clocking the GPU to decrease temperatures. Maybe the GPU needs new thermal paste or a heatsink/fan cleaning.

Most laptops are sodered . I wouldn't worry about upgrading it though. Its pretty good. You should have NO problems playing modern video games from medium-high or maybe even max settings.

Try creating a new user profile and see if that helps. You might have to move all of your files over to another Admin Account.

Try taking apart the laptop and access the cable where the monitor is connected to the board. And test with that a little. You might have to buy a new monitor for it.

I would recommend just sticking with your HP Stream as your portable computer, but if you really want to play SWB and you have the money, I would buy (or build) a desktop. Its just far more enjoyable and should be cheaper. Just look for a computer with i5 or AMD FX Processor with a Nvidia GTX...

What HP Stream? Chances are no. You'll have to have a dedicated graphics card. You'll need like a $1500 laptop.

Trying reinstalling audio drivers from Realtek, getting a soundcard should solve the problem.

Plug that hard drive up to a desktop, and backup all personal data. Then try to see if you can reinstall Windows. (use Produkey to recover Windows Product Key)

Its usually just a problem with laptops, my laptop shows off a blue tint. Just get over it, just another drawback for medium to lowend laptops.

What if you press Start Up repair? There is nothing wrong with StartUp Repair as far as I am concerned, IT works pretty good. It just repairs the boot files without removing files (if all goes well).
