I have a Lenovo G505s laptop and recently my hard drive failed. I was able to replace it and reinstall Windows 10, but I no longer have PowerDVD an some of the Lenovo Software that I need. What do i do? No of the files I have on the original hard drive can be retrieved. I do have another Lenovo laptop with similar specs. My warranty expired, so I can't talk even talk to Lenovo (WOW). Thanks for any help I can find, thank you so much.

Hi,

I've checked Lenovo's Support site and there isn't seem to be a downloadable PowerDVD software from them only all the drivers.

You can download PowerDVD but a trial version only for 15 days if you'll get it from Cyberlinks website. What you can do is to run the original Windows that came with your laptop using the System Recovery disc from Lenovo and update to Windows 10 after so you won't loose those software.
