    Well I do have a optical cable and the connection on my motherboard but I don't think it's 5.1 cause I used to use it and it says 2CH so there is nothing I can do I guess huh ?

    I have a Samsung home theater system and when I play that YouTube video with the 5.1 surround test it seems that it's not but the speakers are a 5.1 built obliviously... So how can I check if it's on or whatever ? Thank you.
