You can get replacement 3.5mm ends at the local radio shack just make sure it has the right dividers , Im not sure the proper terms.. It has the dividers for the different wires then the rubber divider separates them. so just make sure the replacement ends matches. Theres no soldering involved

Not even knowing the model of the i3, Its definitely better. The on board graphics however be be better on the a4. But in Processing power the i3 will have it by far. *EDIT* Here is a Link to a CPU Hierarchy chart. The a4 would probably be on the block below the a6.

I just got this last night its a 2 gb MSI Twin Frozr II 6950.. I attempted to flash the bios and it wouldn't post at all then i found the msi twin frozr III 6950 bios to unlock shaders and clock speeds so i flashed it to that after restoring.. Worked this time posted I now have the higher memory...
