Hack or mod Acer's back-lit keyboard

I have an Aver V3-572g-543s. The back-lit keyboard is nice but if you leave it idle for a minute it turns off automatically. I know it's a power saving thing, but I would like it to stay on until I turn it off manually. Does anyone know how to do this? Is it even possible?

    Acer's laptop review

I have a V3-572g that is very similar to the V3-574g. The only difference is I have a Nvidia 840m in mine, but the CPU and ram and stuff are the same. I do like it, battery last a very long time, and it doesn't get too hot. Here's what I don't really like about it. -The screen is just okay...

    MP3 Files low sound?

    1) Any MP3 from youtube is low quality garbage, it's like watching VHS movies or playing games at 9fps. 2) Get Foobar 3) Get some good 24/96 flac 4) Enjoy Hi-Res music.... In PC nerd language, Enjoy 4K gaming.

Buying new headphones + mic combo

Not to my ears. The difference between the 518 and 558 is like 30fps and 60fps. Some people can tell some can't.

Buying new headphones + mic combo

Spend a little more and get the HD 558, it's much better than the 518 and cost less than the M50x. I wouldn't pick neither of these if you're a basshead. If you want something with a little more bass then look into the Philips Fidelio X1.

    Gaming Laptop Comparison

Me personally, I go with the Gigabyte. Why? Because it's easier to replace and/or upgrade the ram and hard drives. On the Acer you basically have to take the whole laptop apart to access the ram. For the Gigabyte all you have to do is remove the bottom panel.

I need advice on buying a laptop

I would go with the second one as well. (1) I don't like integrated graphics, they share your system's ram (2) With the second one you can install 2 drives (SSD+HDD) (3) Discrete graphic card (4) The second one is a little more future-proof

Looking for Headphones for $200 or under. "Maybe" more than that.

Beyerdynamic Custom One Pro. If you want an open headphone with better soundstage than I recommend the Philip Fidelio X1.
