    One has a 5 megapixel camera and the other a 3 megapixel, they run android so they should do most things but they're not so fast in pure performance and 5 megapixels is not too great for a camera.

    Does the screen display anything? Are you running a power intensive gpu? Try removing the battery and just running off of the power cable and lastly most likely theory currently is that if it was gaming the gpu got too hot and destroyed itself.
