Howdy any advice is appreciated on sub 700 gaming laptops, really only looking to play borderlands 2 and the pre sequel, nothing super graphics intensive beyond that really. Was hoping for an 11-13 inch screen, but if thats not possible a 14 or 15 will do.

Howdy Just purchased a dirt cheap Alienware M11x, i3, 300gb, 4gb ram laptop in great condition. Battery and AC were included for $250 shipped. I have an SSD that I plan to install with win7, but what else can I do to improve performance. Not sure if an 8gb ram upgrade would even do anything...

Chromebooks can't run Foobar2000, nor can linux. Needs to be a full normal Win7 or win8. Not win 8.1 or any weird version of the OS. That one program is really all I care about, used for high quality music playback and sadly is only supported by win7 and 8 :[

Looking for a solid used laptop sub 200. Will only be used for document typing, general internet browsing and primarily music applications via high end usb dacs and amplifiers. That means internal sound card is not important, as i'll be using a usb dac via Foobar2000. Refurbs or open boxes...
