Hi, There are ssd's & 16gb ram, in both these 3d laptops. I just want to know, are there any other higher spec i7 quad core cpu's that one could use for these 3d laptops, that would be compatible, and better than the 2820QM? Cheers.

Hi, thanks for your help. All the links to ebay, i already have checked out. Like i said in my post, i can most of the big parts, i.e. battery, ssd, dvd burner, etc... but finding it hard to source a glossy top lid, and all the cables/ribbon cables i'd need to build this unit.
