Have you tried enabling the wireless network adapter on Network Connections?

That's fine if you want to play unplugged for the battery to last longer. Otherwise if you need performance, turn on your dedicated graphics card instead of the onboard Intel HD graphics. It might worth investing a laptop cooling pad to prevent it from overheating...
