Upgrading wireless network cards in laptops

Hi, I just bought a AC56U router to begin my networking hobby. Right now I want to upgrade my laptops' network adapters to Intel AC7260 to utilize the 5GHz band of the router and increase network speeds. I have a two laptops, Acer 4820TG and Asus A55A. Will the new Intel network adapter compatible with these old laptops? Thanks.

Network adapters are one of the thing u can easily upgrade in a laptop.just need to ensure its the same size as there are 2 different shape.as long as it fit it shoud work,
