Thanks for the info, I'll be sure to back up my iPhone and iPad. But is it safe to update my iPad if it is unsupported? For example: The hardware may cause it to glitch out. Or is it just because Apple wants me to upgrade to a newer devise. In that case I'll just update.
Hello,
I have an iPad 3rd Gen and I'm not looking to upgrade it (I'm getting a laptop). So I'll have this for about a year. It's on iOS 9 and I want to upgrade it to iOS 10.3, but it's unsupported. Now I do have a thing to install Betas (e.g. iOS 10.3 Beta 6), but is it safe? The program is...
Hello,
How do I toggle between integrated graphics and dedicated graphics on Windows 10?
I want to completely disable the GTX 940mx on my laptop when I am on battery (unless it's automatic, please let me know), and turn it back on when I plug it back in. How do I do this?
Hello,
I am looking to buy a laptop, and I am wondering if it's worth opting for the bigger display with a GTX 940mx. So how does integrated graphics compare to dedicated?

Hello,
I am looking for a laptop. I will be using it for high school and at home. I am looking at the new Spectre x360 (2017), and am wondering if it is worth getting the 15 inch model with GTX 940mx. I don't mind the weight or size and I actually like the bigger screen but is it really worth...
How do I disable automatic safe sleep on MacOS?
I read somewhere that writing and rewriting on an SSD will wear it out slowly. And I leave my laptop on all day (not all night) and sometimes I leave it long enough to hibernate.
I found something even better:
If I charge the battery to 50% then put a peice of tape on the middle prong of the Magsafe 2 connector, the Mac will not charge but still be supplied power via the AC adapter.
Does a slower processor clock speed mean more battery and/or less heat? (2.7 vs 3.4 GHz)
Will a difference of .7GHz make a noticeable difference in heat and battery?
The funny thing is, I just found out that I can get the 512 SSD AND 2.9-3.3 processor for the same $300! So that's a 7% boost AND double the SSD.
Thanks for the info BadAsAI!
And also Apple makes it extremely hard to upgrade their laptops. I think the ram is even soldered on in the new MBP.
I am planning on buying a MacBook Pro and found I can can either get a 512GB SSD (from 256)
or a processor boost to
i7 3.1-3.4GHz (from i5 2.7-3.1GHz) for the same price of $300 extra. A few questions:
1) Will I see a noticeable performance boost?
2) Will I need that much storage?
3) Are any...
Thanks for the help guys!
Photonboy's article said something about Lenovos having a program to stop charging at a certain percentage.
Is there such a program for MacOS?
Is there a way to notify battery depletion before it reaches 10%?
