Solved! Best Gaming Laptop under $496 or 35000 Indian Rupees

With that budget, even in the US (where prices are cheaper), you will only get a used unit. Hopefully, you understand this. Therefore, your goal is to look through used models and to aim for at least a 7th gen, MX GPU, 8GB RAM, 250GB+ storage.

Solved! Gaming laptop query - best value for my needs.

Get at least a 1060 with a decent CPU (7th gen i7/8th gen i5 - the latter is better). Anything less than 1060 will be obsolete soon, especially with the discounts incoming due to RTX (in CES - January) it is foolish not only to buy now but also to pay so much for a bad 1050.

Gaming laptop selection dilemma. Graphics, Refresh Rate, RAM?

Don't listen to the person suggesting 1050 - it's crap, even if it's Ti. Get 1060 with an 8th gen i5 - it really is more than enough. On top of i7 overheating and throttling, resulting in less performance than i5, lol. <ModEdit> "Person" was sufficient.

Solved! 15.inch or 17 inch gaming laptop. Help me choosing the right laptop

The issue of getting a 15.6 and then an external monitor is that you will always need some time to adjust, especially with gaming and all the layout organization. I would rather get a 17.3 which is a good balance and while smaller than a 20+ monitor it is still big enough to enjoy gaming on...

    Solved! World of Warcraft

After going around in circles I came to this: Out of the four below, which is a better one? https://www.computeruniverse.net/en/hp-omen-17-an102ng-4bz85ea-439-cm-173-notebook-schwarz - 8300H, 1060 6GB, about 1325 Euros...

Solved! Are these fine to allow the Laptop to comfortably last for another two years?

1060 is the standard now, so no - your card is like 75% slower. Compared to 8750H (which I also consider the minimum), your CPU is also slightly behind (although not so bad - circa 25%) but this is not so important for non-CPU-bound games (unlike WoW, for example). End of 2020 is a stretch -...

    Solved! When to expect "price-drop"s?

For the last two weeks or so I am in a market for a (gaming) laptop. The question is how long until the prices drop? So far current laptops that were released about a year ago, the prices have dropped by about 10-25%. With the introduction of RTX and Intel's 9th gen when are you expecting the...

    Solved! Good gaming laptop

Looking for a gaming laptop to play World of Warcraft comfortably. So far I was suggested the following: - CPU Intel 7th generation i7 8750H. - GPU video card Nvidia GTX 1060 6GB (desktop-like). - 16GB RAM. - 256GB SSD. - 1TB HDD. - Screen 17.3" 144HZ. - Good thermals - fans and heat...

Solved! looking for gaming laptop and need help

Same boat - wait out for better prices, despite you Americans having better prices to start off. See what BF brings and then wait until X-Mas if nothing too good. Personally, I am aiming for the same specs at 1000 Euros (consider it 1K bucks in the States).

Solved! Laptop for World of Warcraft

Are my needs correct (below)? The budget is about 1250 Euros and I do not mind to wait for a month. 8750H, 1060 6GB, 16GB RAM, 256GB SSD, 17.3". Been told that 1060 is the minimum for comfortable FHD gaming and 3GB might be not enough. Then the GPU would need a decent CPU and 7700HQ is too...
