pc sound not working

so my computer has been fine till recently. see the normal thing to happen is that when you pug in your headphones audio comes through them and when you unplug it audio comes out of my laptop but whenever i plug my headphones back in audio dose not go through them and the only way to fix it it...

So today my headphone randomly decided to stop working i connected them to my phone to try to see if it was a computer problem and they worked fine in the phone also the mic worked ass well i though it was a driver problem i reinstalled the drivers for my motherboard and nothing still the same...
