0% (plugged in, charging)

I am using an asus laptop. Just today, I realized that when I plugged the ac adapter, it indicated charging but since morning, the battery level is still at 0% and the machine goes off anytime I unplug the ac adapter. I urgently need a solution.

Sounds like your battery's broken. Have you tried contacting the manufacturer about the issue? If it's under warranty, you should be able to get the situation handled.

Battery is most likely dead, batteries are considered a consumable item and are not covered under warranty unless it is literally brand new.

The battery has probally died and you should look into buying a new one
