1.6 ghz intel core 2 duo for league

my old computer has an intel core 2 duo and 1 gb of ram i know that cant run league but i can easily get 4 gb of ram for free, would this computer be able to play league of legends at low settigns with 4gb of ram

Minimum system requirements for League of Legends: 2 GHz processor and 1 or 2 gb of ram depending on OS. There is also a minimum requirement for the video card.

for a videocard i have a 6670 but when it says 2ghz processor does that mean dual core or single

You didn't read the link I posted. Here is what it says: "Minimum: 2.0+ GHz Processor*

*Players utilizing multi-core processors should still make sure that each core sports 2.0+ GHz.

Recommended: 2.4 GHz Dual Core Processor"

If your motherboard and cooling allow it you should be able to overclock to at least 2 GHz.
