And Q3 sales numbers show that the iPhone 4 and 3GS were the top two selling phones, with the EVO in third, which means a Sprint phone had the third highest sales. So now that all those poor Sprint customers who were forced to get a piece of crap phone (Android phone) now have the option to get a quality phone, the 4S should be selling like crazy as Sprint users line up in droves to replace their antiquated garbage (Android) phones.

Android's 4.4% increase in total share from 41.9% to 46.3% represents a growth of 10.5%;

Apple's 1.0% increase in total share from 27.9% to 28.9% represents a growth of 3.6%;

Simples!

Who said it isn't.

Late reply but let me dumb this down for you.

90 million smartphones in US. 234 million phones total including smartphones in US. These are data according to Comscore.

Apple's market share in smartphones only = 28.1% of 90 million owned smartphones in the US. = 25.272 million iPhones

Apple's market share from all phones = 10.8% of 234 million people with phones age 13 and up in the US = 25.29 million iPhones

Now I ask you, where did you get your 9.8 million iPhone users? Though I already know how you got it - 10.8% of 90 million - which is wrong... And please understand what you are reading. It makes you look stupid.
