10 foot dish

How much better is a 10 foot dish than a 7.5 foot dish for C-Band? I'm
getting signal strength around 74 for the typical channel, but even so it
sometimes has sparkles. I'm seeing some very cheap 10 foot dishes, is it
worth the switch? I'm in Texas.

Be more specific....I've seen a ten footer perform like a 7.5' hydro
dish...if dish is warped/etc., hence...

I still like a 7.5' solid hydro-pressed dish...you loose a pinch on
performance, but you don't have to maintain it much. There easy on
actuator jacks.

Seems things are headed to 4dtv for $$$ reasons. The 10' dish tends to
provide a better signal, this is a very critical factor for the so
called 'virutal channels' riding as subcarriers. If you can grab a 10',
do it (IMHO).
