1000w RMS + 400w RMS subs in one box. Will it sounds pants?

Hi all,

I currently have a twin box with 12" pioneers TS-W311S4 in it. My current amp is a bit poor and just about runs them, but I have a 2400w pioneer amp coming Monday. A mate has also sold me a Vibe Space V12 3000w (1000w RMS) sub for pretty cheap. If I run both this and one of my pioneer subs both at 4 ohms in the same box, off the same amp, would it sounds okay? Has anyone got experience running different watt subs in a single enclosure?

Thanks in advance.

Solution
Different woofers will play at different levels for the same input and respond differently.
The size of the box and ports may not be a good match either.
If the Vibe Space has dual 4 ohm voice coils then just wire one so you can at least match the impedance of the Pioneer woofer you are replacing with it. That way it can't damage the amp.
