1070 Vs 1060 VR

I've been wondering what the difference in VR performance is between the Gtx 1060 and 1070. Now, obviously I know that the 1070 performes better, but I'm interested in the value of it compared to the 1060. Is it worth the extra ~$200? How long will the two cards be able to keep up with new and more demanding VR games? Thanks.

The RX 480 performs very well for the price. In most games you will get within 80-95 FPS

I honestly don't own a VR headset so I can't confirm if this is true or not, but according to others, the performance gap between the two is the same in VR as it is in regular gaming. As for the 1080, things change due to the new architecture. Since the 1070 and 1060 use same architecture, the performance gap should be the same for both. So now the question is, does the 1070's price over the 1060 justify the 25% performance increase(1070 is 25% faster than 1060)? If you think so, then the 1070 is the way to go. What resolution do you play at?
