According to the specifications I found, you can play music via a USB stick.

Doing so was also mentioned in a somewhat painful to watch YouTube video....

So, yes, the music would need to be on the USB stick in the applicable format.

And you can also connect the speaker to an audio source via Bluetooth or directly to an audio source via a USB cable with the applicable connectors on each end. E.g., USB A and micro-USB.

I looked for the User Guide/Manual and found the following link:

Multi-language so you will need to find the applicable language section.
