2.1 subwoofer to amplifier

Hello Folks,
I have z2300 subwoofer without the control pod, just the subwoofer. How can i connect to an amplifier. The subwoofer does not have out only has an output like the vga cable which has 15 pin connector. Any help would be appreciated.

There is already an amp built in but you won't be able to use it without the control pod easily. You would have to find which wires in the "vga cable" are inputs and which turn the amplifier on.
It would be easier to use the sub with an external power amp. You can remove the back plate of the amp and find the wires that go to the woofer itself. Those would connect to an external amp.
