2 dvc 4ohm subs with mono...best way to wire?

I've got two dvc 4 ohm kicker comp cvr 10's running to an alpine mvr-500 mono. How should I wire for clear but deep bass? Would it sound better running the 2 subs parallel down to 1 ohm, wire only 1 coil per sub parallel for a 2 ohm final, or run them to a 4 ohm final?

That amp is rated for 2 ohms minimum so wire one voice coil per speaker in parallel. That will max out the power of the amp and avoid the loss of quality of a series connection. No advantage in this case using the second inputs on the woofers..
