2 gb graphic and hd 4000 comparison

I'm a designing student and I'm supposed to use auto cad and 3dmax softwares. Which graphics should I use either the 2 gb or the Intel HD 4000 graphic card. And more over is it fine to use i5

Depends on which graphics card you have/are referring to.

Generally speaking the dgpu is better for 3d work.But this will depend on the gpu that you are referring to.
